Overview

XZZZX ("the App") is a video playback application that synchronizes with MIDI hardware devices. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

Data We Access

The App accesses the following data on your device:

• Photos Library: When you choose to select a video, the App accesses your Photos library solely to load the video you select for playback. Videos are copied locally within the App for playback purposes only.
• Bluetooth/MIDI/USB: The App connects to MIDI hardware devices to receive transport control signals (Start, Stop, Continue). Other than MIDI data used to interact with devices, no data is transmitted from your device to these hardware devices.

Data We Do NOT Collect

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:

• No analytics or usage tracking
• No crash reporting services
• No advertising or ad identifiers
• No user accounts or authentication
• No network requests to external servers
• No third-party SDKs that collect or transmit data

Data Storage

The only data stored by the App is:

• App preferences (stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults):
  • Your selected MIDI device
  • Custom CC-to-transport mappings (if configured)
  • MIDI channel filter setting
  • Display appearance preference
  • Whether to remember your last video
• Video data: A temporary copy of the most recently selected video (stored locally in the App's sandboxed Documents directory)

This data never leaves your device and is automatically removed when you delete the App.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.

Children's Privacy

The App does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
